We have many areas in which assistance is needed. Please review the descriptions and call the tournament office at 843-842-7711 for an application. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

We will have volunteer orientation and training sessions in August at our host hotel, The Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort (specific information will follow). Please call the Tournament office at 843-842-7711 with any questions.

called occasionally as we need assistance.

We occasionally need help moving items, if you would be willing to help on an as needed basis, please note on the application.

Volunteer Needs at Tournament Time:

Celebrity Auto Transportation
Must be available
August 30 - September 4, 2006

Autos courtesy of O.C. Welch will be used for ground transportation provided to the celebrities throughout the weekend. Drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license. Knowledge of roads and the local area is essential. We need extremely reliable, friendly & trustworthy individuals for this crucial part of our event. Autos will not be available for personal use of the volunteers.

Assistance needed with product delivery, organization
and inventory as we move courses each day
and return items post event.
This position may involve moderate lifting.

Beverage Attendant on Golf Course
September 1 - 3
Will work in pairs, must be 21.
You may bring a chair and enjoy the tournament.

Tournament Headquarters
The Crowne Plaza Resort
Greet guests, answer tournament questions.

 


Volunteer Orientation Meeting Dates will be announced for August 2006 at a later time. Please check back.

Orientation will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island
Beach Resort in Shipyard Plantation.

Volunteers are NOT permitted to
drink alcoholic beverages while on duty.
